Hi all,

Installation of ABAP Trial stack seems to be ok. All settings done: administrator, loopback adapter, host+services files.

When starting the appl. server, I get a green screen saying everything starting and ok, after a while going to yellow screen and stopping.

Included some error logs.

Many thanks for help.

Regards,

Jan

Hi Jan,

Do you have the MS Loopback Adapter installed? The problem is related to that. Have a look at this link to find out how to install the Adapter -

Hi Sameer,

I'm logging on to my notebook, local, as admin.

I've installed the loopback adapter, inserted ip 10.10.0.10 and 255.255.255.0.

I've added an entry to the host file 10.10.0.10 localhost, there's already an entry 127.0.0.0 localhost.

Quite some entries are added to the service file.

Installation of the Trial Version has already very much improved ... but still can't be done without problems ... i'm getting so tiered of this ... ! (sorry, do we notice some frustration here ).

Tx for your reply,

Regards,

Jan

Hello Jan,

Have you tried looking at the following notes?

Note - 916050 (Emergency shutdown of the dispatcher) - I think this will help the most.

Note - 501902 (Error in the dispatcher).

Sameer
