Hi, Does SAP supports SQL server 2016? It is part of roadmap. Where can I get enough information or notes? Appreciate your help.
Regards,
Bhaskar
Hello Rapelli,
SAP should support SQL Server 2016 by now. Check the following SAP Note for the details:
http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2201059
If your SAP product of interest is listed in PAM saying it supports it, I'd say you're good to go.
Best regards,

Hi Rapelli,
I see you have already posted this question as part of another question in space. That is basically cross posting, which is against the .
Since you have an answer for part of your question there, and that is also the answer to your question here, I will close this thread about this question.
You can keep track of this space (SAP on SQL Server) and be sure that the landing page will be updated as soon as SQL Server 2016 is released for SAP NetWeaver, which currently, is not. Therefore you should subscribe SAP Note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2201059 and once SQL Server 2016 CU1 is released and tested.
Thanks and best regards,
Luis Darui

Hello,
The release date for SQL Server 2016 was June 1st 2016, so it's brand new.
Keep an eye on the SAP Product Availability Matrix (PAM) for supported SAP products, and keep an eye on the specific requirements with regards to SP level for your SAP products.
Kindest regards, Wilbert
