Paystubs vs ESS salary statement

Hi,

Can anybody give more details on Paystubs vs ESS salary statement.

As I know: Paystubs is Fiori App, ESS salary statement is same but in portal. But we do have ESS UI5(Salary Statement - Employee Self-Service (SAPUI5) - SAP Library) also.

This UI5 ESS can we use in Fiori...? If yes what is the diff between Paystubs and this.

Is the same Service got used in ESS salary statement &Paystubs or different.

Correct me if my understanding is wrong...?

Fiori Paystub is new and can be embedded in UI5 ESS, its based on SAPui5 fiori mobile library

Also, Salary Statement is similar to this but has more functionality to display
and mainly released as ESS Service and not as app.

Hi Siddharth,

I understood that ESS in portal provides wide range of details than Paystubs App.

Q:

1. As you mentioned Fiori paystub can embedded into ESS, can you share a few details how we can achieve it.

2.I want to do some enhancement that should reflect to Fiori app and ESS, so if I do change Fiori App backend service will it reflect to ESS also..?.

are you using FIORI Launchpad

You need to use LPD_CUST to call the FIORI APP in ESS ie launchpad role in ESS MENU and maintain the URL etc

what changes are you planning? if you are using same Payslip form yes it should reflect in both
