New ecc system installation - help in auto TR import

Hello Experts,

I have installed a new system via system copy on hana DB. THis is a sandbox system installed on linux plateform. TMS has been set up and is consistent.

The follwoing is the requirement. Anyone has any idea how to implement this.

1) TR's transported to PRD system will have to be auto transported to this new sandbox system as well.

2) I have to cover all transports being moved to PROD from the point in time backup has been taken for the new sandbox system to the sandbox system.

HI vishwanath,

in the transport route in between this system and presumably your qa system.

you need to add this system to target release point.

and then within the new system you have to schedule the auto import job.

Hello

in normal SAP landscape we can have below option

point 1

- add new system in PRD transport landscape on domain controller  and add it after PRD in transport route

- schedule auto import job on new system so that whatever comes in new system buffer will be imported automatically

Point2

- login to PROD and using STMS select all TR which moved after the date and time stamp and make a list

- go to new system and manually add to queue and import ( considering new system may have same transport directory -if not then may need to copy data and cofiles for each  TR or use /explore forward functionality of STMS )
