under one installation given by sap , how many servers we can install?

Hi Santosh,

U can install it on any number of servers but u need to apply the license for each one of them.

Hello Santosh,

This is mantosh. Welcome to SDN.

Now We can have Only one instance and it will be having one license, coz it's related with the hardware key of your machine.

Now one instance/installation can have many application server. Now these are a part of the same instance basically done for load balancing. No license required for it.

Hello Santosh,

You have to get <b>one</b> sap license per SAP <b>system</b>

You can renew the license whenever there is a change in Hardware

Application servers do not require separate licence since they are part of a single SAP system <SID>.
