Truncated Value After Upgrade SAP Gateway to 7.50

Dear SAP Experts,

I need your help to give suggestion to solve my error. Gateway 7.50 retrieve truncated value. The screenshot of the value in debugger is like below:

This value 20 is should be 2008.

I have faced similar issue in GW 740 SP 13 and solved by solution in SCN discussion below. Now i faced similar issue after upgrade the gateway to 750 SP 03.

I have checked several notes but still can't solve the issue.

Fiori Frontend System(Unicode System😞

SAP Netweaver 750 SP03

Backend System (Non-Unicode System)

SAP Netweaver 731

Is there any special configuration create connection between non unicode and unicode system. I'm suspect unicode version might be root cause of this problem.

IW_BEP SP12 is the latest.

Have you search a note?

Hi Masa,

Thanks for your help, i have found 2 sap notes which are relevant with the issue:

0002296029

But the issue still not solved yet.

I have upgraded the IW_BEP to SP12 and reimplement the notes, but can't solve the error.

Is there any suggestion to solve this error?

Additional information:

The changes was not applied immediately even i have execute cache clean up both in frontend and backend. Now the problem was solved now.

Hi Husin ,

Luckily i faced the same issue today and was able to solve it using this note.

Please check : 2256525 and 2245413. You need to implement in both backend and frontend.

Thanks for your information, your SAP Notes was solved my problem when i used NW 740 SP13. But for current version of my system. It cannot be implemented. Is there suggestion to solve this error?
