Listener port already in use - windows server 2008 R2

     Hi Team,

I have installed the oracle 12c software (only) on windows machine, after that I am trying to install the listner but it is saying listner port is already in use. use some other port. I tried no of ports but still the same result.

We have one more listner is running on the same host ( database installed on D drive- even my database also installed on same drive but oracle home is different )

I have tried all other options setting the enviroment variable, doing net stat what are all the free ports but nothing worked.

Can anyone please help me. This would be apprciated.

Thank you so much all for your response. We have resolved the by going into the current database bin and LSNRCTL > stopped the sample listner and re-created with new port no

Hi Pavan,

Did you check "netstat -ano" to see which ports are used? Then find a suitable port that is not used.
