TSV_TNEW_BLOCKS_NO_ROLL_MEMORY

Hi Guys,

Need a bit of help on TSV_TNEW_BLOCKS_NO_ROLL_MEMORY dump issue. Tried a lot of things however still having this issue. So, trying to find some idea how can I proceed further. Any suggestions are welcome.

Just for some background.

BW SAP NETWEAVER 7.4

Oracle 11.2.0.4

I'm getting the ST22 dump while import a transport which similar to SAP note 1842962. However, the weird it manage to be imported in one of the system and failed at the other one.

Based on 7.4 release, all the roll memory parameters are deleted and obselete - Link

Below are the ST22 Dumps:

Short Text

No roll storage space of length 25249840 available for internal storage.

    table blocks.

Error analysis

    The internal table

     "\FUNCTION-POOL=RSDU_PART_ORA\FORM=WRITE_PART_DDSTORAGE_ODSO_TAB\DATA=L_T_STOR

PAR" could not be enlarged further.

    Memory location: "Session memory"

You attempted to extend the data structure for the management of the

    memory blocks for table

     "\FUNCTION-POOL=RSDU_PART_ORA\FORM=WRITE_PART_DDSTORAGE_ODSO_TAB\DATA=L_T_STOR

PAR". However, the 25249840 bytes required for

this were no longer available in the specified memory area.

The amount of memory requested is no longer available.

How to correct the error

Perform an analysis to find out whether this request makes sense or

whether a program error has occurred. Pay particular attention to the

    internal table entries listed below.

The amount of memory (in bytes) used at termination time was:

    Roll area...................... 0

    Extended memory (EM) 0

    Assigned memory (HEAP) 27667312

    Short area.....................

    Paging area.................... 81920

    Maximum address space.......... 18446741284279287808

If the error occurs in a non-modfied SAP program, you might be able to

find a solution in the SAP Notes system. If you have access to the SAP

Notes system, check there first using the following keywords:

    "TSV_TNEW_BLOCKS_NO_ROLL_MEMORY"

    "SAPLRSDU_PART_ORA" bzw. LRSDU_PART_ORAF02

    "WRITE_PART_DDSTORAGE_ODSO_TAB"

If you cannot solve the problem yourself, please send the following

SAP has replied and refer to note 659160 - Error during remote call of destination

It seems there issue on a setting after system refresh. Based on the note you need to setup setting in trx RSTPRFC. After setting that, the problem is solve.

Hi Ahmad.

Thanks for your information.

I think you may required to raise the ticket SAP support. it may be bug. Note 1842962 is not valid on your system. Your SAP_BW SP level may be more then 14 or 15.

Hi

Heap limit set is 3 GB and 38 GB for dialog and non-dialog work process respectively.

But from the dump, heap used is just 26 MB.

It seems there were other work processes consuming the heap during the same time.

There is not much things running in the system as I just import the transport after I restarted the system.

Attached is the wp information before it terminated for your reference.
