Process for MSMP changes in production system

Hi Folks,

Please advise what would be the process to take the MSMP changes in production-

1) are we gonna make changes in DEV and move to Quality and production through transport, or

2) do we need to maintain individually in all the 3 system-dev,qua,prod.

Please advise if there is any actual process (in anyone of the above) or is it specified project-wise.

Dear Shashank,

the official process (and also the one all my customers follow) goes from DEV to Quality and then to PROD. It doesn't make sense to maintain individually and some changes require objects that must be transported (e.g. custom agents/rules, roles, etc.).

Therefore it is always recommended to follow the transport path (also from an audit point of view).
