SAP Lumira Connectivity to SAP BW on HANA

Hi All,

I have a scenario where architecture is: SAP BI Platform on Cloud on Linux System connecting to SAP BW on Hana on Cloud.

I want to understand can we connect to SAP Lumira Desktop and BI Platform Server to SAP BW on Hana.

After searching a lot I understood that SAP Lumira can be connected to SAP BW System but just want to confirm that it will also connect to SAP BW on HANA from BI Platform which is on Linux Platform.

Hi Swapnil,

Yes we can connect Lumira to SAP BW on HANA. Please refer to Consuming BEx Queries in SAP Lumira for BW on SAP HANA Scenarios - YouTube

And as of Lumira 1.30, there is Linux support for Lumira server for BI Platform. Currently there is SUSE 12 and RedHat is coming soon.

More web application servers apart from Apache Tomcat are also supported for Lumira Server for BI Platforms. IBM WebSphere, SAP NetWeaver, Oracle WebLogic to name a few.
