Cloud Web IDE - is it possible to connect to local SAP system?

Dear Experts,

I created a new connection in WEB IDE to the local SAP system, but the connection cannot be reached.

I assume, it is because our SAP system cannot be reached from the outer world.

Is there a way to use cloud version of WEB IDE, or should I use local WEB IDE instead?

Hi Denis,

You need to install Cloud connector to do so. I have made below two posts please have look.

If you are using WebIDE then you need to install Cloud connector where you will configure all your server and Gateways details to connection purposes.

First post explains how to install Cloud Connector and second post tells about how to use.

Hi Denis,

i have installed an Hana Cloud connector on my laptop and connect it to the Gateway hub.

In each project, i develop UIs in the cloud and deployed that on the local Gateway hub.

Use HANA Cloud connector to connect on-premise system to Cloud web ide. You can find lots of document on this.
