Hello all,

we are using the AdapterMessageMonitoring webservice provide from SAP PI 7.3. This webservice is called from a scheduled job definiton and it seems to be working fine: The return values from the webservice are valid and the job defintion doesn't catch exceptions and reports the result as we expected.

But checking the logfile in see that with each webservice call the following two ERRORs are logged:

Invalid endpoint port number generated in wsdl, web service [AdapterMessageMonitoring] at [/AdapterMessageMonitoring/clientCert]: port is [-1]	/System/Server/WS/Provider	com.sap.engine.services.webservices.espbase.server.runtime.WSDLVisualizer	sap.com/com.sap.xi.mdt.beans
Invalid endpoint port number generated in wsdl, web service [AdapterMessageMonitoring] at [/AdapterMessageMonitoring/ssl]: port is [-1]	/System/Server/WS/Provider	com.sap.engine.services.webservices.espbase.server.runtime.WSDLVisualizer	sap.com/com.sap.xi.mdt.beans

I don't have an idea why this error is logged. For sure the port -1 looks strange, but the wsdl is provided by the SAP PI environment.

Any idea ?

Please take a look at note "1464338 - Invalid endpoint port -1 is generated in WSDL".
