Hello Satish,

This program is used for checcking remote connection status.

You can go to a system remote connection page and press Connect button. It downloads a file with name stfk.oez and ServiceConnector program opens this file.

Prrogram opens the message you attached first and then it gives a message like below.

Hello Satish,

As per your screen shot you have to correctly maintain the system data in marketplace for the system in question.  You can clearly see that you don't have the server information defined for the system in question.

You can update your system in marketplace via Home => Key,Systems & Installations => System Data
.

Hi all,

my apologies for my late reply.

After your suggestions we did something. we opened R/3 Support. we lost the "No server defined. maintain system data" Message. yet we are not connected.

Kindly let us know what we are missing.

Hello Satish,

The screenshot shows that you haven't opened the connection yet.

You just selected the types of connections from the below list.

Now you must click R/3 Support from upper list and update the number of days and than save it.

You should see that connection is open for X days on upper list.

In addition, That "Not Connected" could be fake.

I think you downloaded Service Connector and installed it.

After you opened the connection in place of Refresh you should see Connect link.

You click the connect link and Run Service connector and check the status of the connection.

Hey That was helpful...

After reading the your reply we did the following...

We got STFK.oez file after we hit the "Start Service Connector". Which we opened with Service Connector 2.0.

But we did not get Successful message...... Hence we clicked on "No" button and again redid the same. but no success message!

Hello Satish,

Number of day should be at maximum 20.  (System gives error)

System does not allow you to enter 30 AFAIK.

Enter 20 and Save the connection.

And say Yes for the screen you shared.

What is the status of upper list now? Can you see opened icon?

Service Connector is not so important. It is just a tool to check connection and sometimes it does not give the right status. Don't look at that.

Just enter the day and save the connection.

In the upper list you should see the connection open icon.

Then ask SAP guys to check the connection.
