"Dismantling may not be earlier than XX/XX/XXXX"

Hi SAP Experts,

May i know your stand on this error that i have encountered upon replacing a meter.

While transacting a meter replacement via EG30; we encountered an error that says, "dismantling may not be earlier than 05/31/2016."

Upon investigation on our part, we found that the Valid From field in the Display Material Serial Number page (EC20>Device) is automatically updated on a daily basis. We do not know the reason behind this occurrence.

Hi,

The valid from date in the header(your screenshot shows 05/31/2016) changes due to configuration for equipment usage history.

Check Plant Maintenance & Customer Service -> Master Data -> Technical Objects -> Equipment -> Equipment Usage Period -> Usage History Update.

There check if your ISU Equipment Category "I" is checked for time segment.

Uncheck this and your issue should be solved.

Probably timeslices in EQUZ. review Extras --> Usage List (Shift+F9) &/or EQUZ to see the added slices.
