regarding license

hi gr8 sdners

we are licensed with sap for 3 installation numbers.

1. (some number ) -- nw t installation

2. (some number) ---erp t installation

3. ( some number) --r/3 t installation

at present both dev and prd having same installation no. and running ecc5.

so here what i feel is-- infuture if we go for bw, we need to apply for license under the installation no which is allotted for nw( as bi is the part of nw) ... is it so ???

Hi Akhil K

You have 3 installation number for your SAP System which details are like this;

1) Solution Manager

2) R/3

3) ERP which is NW also

your all system from ECC 5 should be registered under teh ERP/NW license.

Yes you are right, for BI register it under NW
