ChaRM reopen a rejected RfC

Dear all,

i am in trouble with a Request for Change (RfC) in a ChaRM scenario.

The Change Request contains several Change Documents (CD) in several statuses.

The Go-Live has come but i can't set Production Status for every Change Documents; the ones related to previously mentioned RfC are in error, because of the status of previous document (the rejected Request for Change).

I've tried to reopen the RfC via se38 CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT but it ends in error.

In your knowledge, there is a way to re-open a rejected Request for Change?

Thank you for your support,

Marco

Hi Marco,

The reason why you cannot move your Change Docs now is that your Rfc is in a final status.

It cannot be changed anymore, however when you try to move CD to Production status, PPF action

SET_PREDOC will be triggered to set Rfc status.

Currently as a workaround, I think you can remove SET_PREDOC from your transaction defination temporily.

Hi Melody,

thank you for this suggestion.

I was hoping there was an hidden report (or undocumented one) to reopen the rejected RfC.

By the way i am unable to figure it out following this way.

So when every Change Docs related to the rejected RfC will be ready to execute action "Set Production status" i'll modify the transaction type behaviour.

I'll let you know.
