how to convert discussion to question?

you can do this yourself within 15 minutes after you posted, and certainly not after you got already replies. you need to reach out to the moderators of the space. At least one of them has his email shown in public. you can also mention them here.

As you know how to mention a person in SCN, you can do that to for the moderators of the space you posted (names are on the left on the space overview page), they are able to change the setting at any time.

I'd be cautious about changing a thread from discussion to question - sometimes moderators make the call that a question should be a discussion instead, and it would be wrong to override their decision.

Of course it's fine if the poster accidentally made it a discussion.
