Dear GTS gurus,
I know some basic knowledge on List type use in GTS system.
We maintain this based on this legal regulation,And it is defined for designated countries.
But from business point of view,I could not get exact the logic behind this.
Please help to understand exactly what is the use of List type ...I checked in google to understand but not found of this functionolity.
Hi Venu,
As we know, various government agencies publish denied party list. This list can be categorized in different types depending upon the source of information or the reason they are blacklisted say some for financial reasons, others for some different reasons for example terrorist etc.The data providers or aggregators collate all these list and publish them under various list types as Sanction Party List.
GTS just preserves these list types as is in the system. You must define all the list type under a legal regulation in order to use them for screening.
Among other things, you can control following based on List type in GTS:
1) Whether the list type is uploaded via xml or created manually
2) Maximum number of index entries per object
3) Minimum length on index entries
i hope i am able to provide some of the answer you are looking for if not all.
regards,
Kul Vaibhav
