SAP WM Initial Stock upload with Storage unit

Dear Team,

Please advice the initial stock upload for SAP WM with storage unit(Mixed storage)

I m planning to have MB1C - LSMW with 561 movement type

Then another LSMW for LT01 where material & qty will be entered in initial screen and

in second screen for Source quant will be entered the 998 quant no with storage unit blank

and Destination bin no with required storage unit.

Expecting the storage unit to get created(LEIN table) if doesn't exist in system and update in LQUA table.

If already Storage unit is update for another material in another line item of upload data then system should update the stock with the storage unit.

I have gone through multiple post with Initial upload but couldn't find  detail about Storage unit cases.

While uploading stock in WM using LT01 as per above procedure,error appears as Storage unit is not consistent with other transfer order data when second time same storage unit is used.

How can we post to same storage unit multiple materials.Please suggest

Hi Max,

SUT suppose to be generated automatically by system, when you are entering external numbers?  It is unique number with in warehouse, so during initial stock transfer, system suppose to create SUT automatically.

For mixed SUT, you can use LT10, select materials --> TO in forground --> enter destination storage type , storage section and storage unit type. system creates TO with mixed SUT.

Hi Prabhakar,

System is creating SUT automatically when entering external no during initial upload.

But when the storage unit is posted with a different Material again during upload getting below error.

Storage unit is not consistent with other transfer order data when second time same storage unit is used.

So LT01 we cannot post one storage unit multiple Materials.

Is there any indicator for mixed SUT and non mixed SUT to identify from LEIN.

The storage type stock placement is Manual bin selection & Mixed ,Addition to stock are activated.

Navigate on the left and use the Examples for the Warehouse Management System

to map your case.

Then see the program RLBEST00 and the structure RLBES which has a field for the target SU Number: NLENR

Do you really want to create new SU numbers and re-label all your inventory?

Hi Jurgen,

Thanks for suggestion. We have the storage unit no in legacy system which has to be migrated & will be used as external no range in SAP.
