Inspection Plan is not getting Updated in Inspection Lot

We have assigned the Inspection Plan for a material, but the assignment of the inspection plan was done after the Inspection Lot is created.

In QA12 even after changing the Key Date and Maintaining the correct Usage the Inspection Plan is not getting updated in the Inspection Lot.

Experts advice required.

Also please check if Manual sample calculation is not selected for your assigned inspection type, in material master -> QM view. If it's not selected, then manual sample calculation is not needed to be done manually as it would be done automatically and plan would be assigned. Only if this is selected, then you need to manually do sample calculation, and only then inspection plan will be assigned.

For rest, follow the steps suggested by Amarnath.

Hi Srinath,

Change key date to valid from date of inspection plan.

After changing the key date click on Button Task List/spec.

On sample tab click on Sample button to calculate the sample size. Save and check Lot will be in REL status.

Also check if the material is revision managed. If so remove the revision level and then change the key date and try to do above things.

Hi,

Use Transaction code QA02 instead of QA12 and follow the Srinath steps.
