i am getting the error jco_communicaton_error in sxi_monitor
so could any one help me with some solution .

It is better to restart XI as it will start the J2ee application server again.
i have tried n number of times restarting the server .but no solution found
wheniam trying for test connc in tcpi/p connec i m getting error as program id

Go to SM59. Test all connections of type TCP/IP.
One of these is probably not registered.
Check if SLDCHECK is working.

Check all the TCP/IP conncetions in SM59.
Do a SLDCHECK and LCRCHECK.
Also check the corresponding entries for the TCP/IP entries of SM59 in Visual Admin.
This should mostly solve the prob.

Try re-starting the message. If it is a temporary connection failure, it will get executed.
Re-starting server is not necessary.
Is it a system error, or a call adapter error?
