Unable to Pick TDC(test data container) in the Test packges of CBTA

Hi All,

created test configuration of the CBTA script. which contains 1:- test script and 2:- Test data container .

when we executed test configuration test script picked the data from test data container.

now we have created test package for the same test configuration after that when we run test package through tester work list its picking the default data but not the TDC data.

the above is all about CBTA scripts

help is  appreciated

Hi Naveen,

Yes it will pick default value, You need to define the variant in solar02 where you are maintaining the test scripts, Default it will take ECATT_DEFAULT only.

So, create the variant and define it while you are adding your script in solar02.

Hi Rishav,

Even i was facing the same issue but after defining the variant in solar02 it is working fine for 1 more variant.

But is there any way through which we can assign the whole TDC to that script while executing it through tester work list ?

Hi Pragya,

To have the whole TDC executed though tester worklist, create an entry in SOLAR02 and use * in the Variant column, rather than the named variant.

Once selected in testplan and assigned to tester, it wille xecute all variants from TDC.
