Hi All,

We are working on Ep 6.0 with oracle 9 i on windows server 2003.

The problem is after restarting the server once its not working ..Dispatcher is down ,this is wt developer trace is saying :

Hello,

kindly please check the following for the same..

(1) check u r able to connect with database or not...manually........

(2) check u r host entry for ..correct port

(3) check u r DNS entry for correct connection ..

(4) check is there any datafile corrupt or not..through database check

if u r not go through it then let me know....most probably the problem is in DNS and HOST enrty..

Hello,

So first try to connect with u r database..

do login through "/ as sysdba" and u must be login with <SID>adm user for that.

when u fire the command "/ as sysdba" on sqlplus what u got???

u got any error or what...kidnly paste that ouput over here...

Alert Log tells the Oracle Version to be some 9.2.0.6! Old stuff!

Please install Patchset 9.2.0.8 and the latest available Minipatch.

GOTO ORACLE/ORA92/BIN and check for the file TNSLSNR.EXE may be it renamed to TNSLSNR.EXE~ so change it back to TNSLSNR.EXE and restart server

Anyways, I had the the same symptom in MMC so many times over 10 years and your proposed never was the issue!
