I could not find this role in my system even though i have the right component installed.

PFCG role SAP_FIN_TE_CRE_APP for My travel and expense is not available.

here.

Activated Business Function FIN_TRAVEL_4 in SFW5 too.

Please let me know am i missing anything

Is your back end system running on EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0 SPS 11?

Yes, its running on EHP7, SAP ERP 6.0.

Kindly cross check with your Basis team - it looks like the SPS level of the ERP 6 is SP0002.
