Language Translation of buttons and other items to French

Hi Experts,

How can I translate the button texts and label texts in flavour to French .

I checked the link and followed the steps

But I could see that the translation only happened to the  flavor but not texts of buttons.

Hi Pradeep,

The translation feature works for buttons and labels too.

Here follows my example (my test system runs kernel 7.42 pl 412 + Personas 3.0 SP03):

Flavor "Test" being called with sap-language=en:

Flavor "Test" being called with sap-language=pt:

Translation screen (it is in display mode) in /personas/admin:

What is preventing you from translating labels and buttons?

Hi Christiano , I did the same steps as mentioned but could not see translations for button that i tested in flavor.  Flavor name is changed.But not the button name.I am in 3.0 version sp2. Please suggest. Best regards, Pradeep.

Give me a few minutes and I'll test the same scenario in a SP02 system...

I finished the test.

Another system, with kernel 7.42 pl 410 + Personas 3.0 SP02:

The translation from EN to DE worked fine for labels and buttons.

Hi christiano, Thank you very much .Does kernel  level make any difference is it must to have 7.42 pl 410 ? I will check tomorrow once i am back in office about what level we are in. I did the same thing and i am not able to see , Also Is there any config thing that i am missing ? Best regards, pradeep.
