Restrict Access to PI Service from ECC

Hello All,

We have a requirement where we have a ECC - PI - Backend system integration.

We typically use sproxy to call PI services from SAP systems

But we want to restrict access to who which application can call the PI service from ECC ?

Can this be done at the proxy level ?

For example once a proxy is created and any application which wants to call a PI service has to supply a some credentials to it.

Please let us know what are the best options of implementing it.
