Installing IA64

Dear Gurus

I am installing the SAP 4.7 Master Installation IA64 in Windows 2003 and SQL 2005 Enterprise 64Bits.

But when I execute el SETUP.CMD me sale el siguiente error

I am working with j2sdk1.4.2_14-x64, but the error:

The system cannot find the path specified.

Copying SAPinst...

This may last several minutes.

Cannot copy file "D:\SAPINST\NT\AMD64\SAPCAR.EXE" to directory "C:\DOCUME~1\sapa

dmin\LOCALS~1\Temp\SAPinst".

Hi luis

First of all, I will correct your error that, you have been mentioned that IA64 (Intel Itanium processor) and you have selected the AMD64 processor which is totally different hardware infrastructure,

I would recommend you instead of executing the setup by the setup.cmd

Go to Instalaltion master and go to IA64 bit directory and run the installation process from there.

also, set the variable for the java and include in the path

java_home= C:\java\bin

sapinst_jre_home = C:\Java\j2re1.4.2_12\bin
