Web Dynpro Error

Hi,

I am new to Web Dynpro and i am trying to write my first program. When I try to create a view in se80, I get the following error.

Service cannot be reached

What has happened?

URL http://sapsom.sapmc.com:8001/sap/bc/wdvd call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

I am not sure why its calling this URL. How can I change it to call the right URL and what should it be?

I tried to connect to http://sapsom.sapmc.com:8001/sap/bc/webdynpro and i know i can login.

It appears that the service node is not activated. You need to go to transaction SICF and activate the node under SAP->BC->WDVD

Hi Rami,

Rich is correct the webdynpro service WDVD is not activated so please contact your system admin to get this service activated or if you have sufficient privileges you can do so by executing transaction SICF.
