Hi,

I have been thinking since Long back of what is the difference between Creating Customer Account Groups in FI and creating in Logistics General under business Partners.

As you can tell there's no difference. Just two different paths to achieve the same result.

If you check the transaction code in SPRO for those two paths, you would find that both are calling the same transaction OBD2

yes same tcode ,i am in a view that SAP has given for different purpose

Maybe because: Sales area and Purchasing organization data of BP's are usually customized by SD/MM Consultants (Logistics) and company code data of BP's are usually customized by FI consultants. Maybe that's why two different paths in SPRO has been introduced by SAP.
