NWBPM - Human Activity

Hi SCN user,

I am trying to create Expense Report using Human Event of NWBPM. But TASK is going into READY status and process is not getting completed.

Any idea why TASK goes into READY Status?

Model -

Request should be able to see Expense Report Status, but I am not able to get any task in request...

What is the entire flow?

If any condition is satisfied in Exclusive choice is that send to Human?

And did you approve the process using human activity?

Hi Raghu,

I am using rule here. If expense amnt is >50 then it should go to manager approval

else it should get auto approved.

Case 1 -

I gave value as 10, hence it didnt go to manager approval. It should be visible to Requester as approved.

Case 2 -

I gave value as 100, hence it went to manager for approval. Manager approved it. Then it came back to Requester and stuck again.

In short, final step is not getting executed. It is getting stuck in READY status.

Any idea why requester not able to see status?

So once the approver approves it where the status is displayed?, guess this is the missing step.

I got the issue. For event - Expense Report Status, I see owner as included and exluded at same time.

I check my BPM model. I haven't added any excluded owner for this event -

Any idea from where it is taking ecluded owner?

It will be in the Properties of Human activity only.

Once you select the Checkbox Excluded owners the new tab with details will appear as below

If its not displayed,Delete and add the object again

Yes after selecting check box I got the new tab for Excluded Owners.

What should I do next?

You can add excluded owners to restrict and potential owners who will be the owners for that activity.

but at runtime it is by default taking my ID as  potential owner as well as excluded owner...

Add your ID as potential owner in the Automated activity.

Superb, I gave some random user ID as "excluded ID" and its working fine now
