Error in PO Approval App in Fiori

Hello,

Sometimes PO Approval App (Standard) is in Error Sometimes not.

In browser it is showing error in "gbapp_poapproval;mo/WorkflowTaskCollection/$count".

Gateway service has been debugged and its returning the total tile count perfectly but sometimes its reflecting in App sometimes not.

Kindly suggest.

Dear Chandan,

Below check steps:

1. Add your Task ID TS20000166 at spro->Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase Order->Approve purchase orders App->Specify Workflow Task IDs for Approve Purchase Orders App.

2.After create PO, login with concern po approval login, check sbwp in Inbox->Workflow. If you got po details then proceed with step 3.

3. If your ECC system connected with trusted connection from gateway, check trusted connection as "Current users".

Hi Chandan,

Ideally, it should have returned zero. Can you please post the screenshots of the request header and the dump of complete console log as well?

I am suspecting that the error might be due to some other issue and not due to the count request being made.

Hi Shashwat,

Looks like connectivity to backend system is dropping sometimes (not reliable). Can you please check with your basis team ?

Thanks for reply, let me give you some more details,

When we are executing through the gateway client, WorkflowTaskcollection$count is returning the correct count. But we execute the URL independently in Bowers it gives error only sometimes.

Kindly let me know if we can check any configuration.

Hi Chandan,

Please make sure that you maintained the "Task ID" - TS20000166

in "Specify Workflow Task IDs for Approve Purchase Orders App"

in purchase order approval App configuration.

Hi,

When you get the error instead of the count on the tile, check the transaction /IWFND/ERROR_LOG in the front end system to check what error messages are recorded. Also check SU53 to see if there are any missing authorizations.

The problem is, we do not have any error log for this. It is not authorization issue even, because its happening only for sometimes not every time.
