Installing MsSQL JDBC driver on PI740 system

Team,

I am struggling to implement the MsSQL JDBC driver on PI even though following the attached steps goes to successfull state. Kindly check the attached document and advise where I could be doing it wrong. The other problem is that the sdaMakerTool does not list the list of jar files automatically and I have to type one jar file which could be telling me of corrupted files thus issues with deployment.

After the deployment, there is only one resource on the library if you check the below url

http://host:<port>/nwa/classloader. Pity I can not upload the PDF document.

Kind regards,

CK

Team,

I have managed to resolve this issue, the mistake was running the sdaMakerTool on the unix platform. The below steps were take:

1. Uncompress the MsSQL driver from microsoft on my win laptop

2. Run the sdaMakerTool also on my laptop

3. Since I am on NW740, there is no need to use SAP 3RD Party sda files

4. If on the latest SAP Java, on the list of the jar files,  sqljdbc.jar should be deleted before creating the sda file.

4. The sda was created and traffered to my unix box.

5. Though SAP advised to use the latest SUM with update all option, this did not work and I used the "telnet localhost <port> where port =50008 if your main instance number is "00"
