Error with decimal numbering when managing data in excel addin

Dear community,

Would anybody have the pleasure to inform me  why the excel addin appears the following message when trying to give a decimal value to the field "net weight". I checked the attribute "net weight" and indeed it is decimal 18,6.

I use both commas (,) and point (.) but it doesnt work.

can you enter without decimals? which is your Excel general settings for decimals, which sign? which release do you work with and which planning area did you copy?

I dont know the field net weight from standard, so I assume you have self-defined it? Did you ever change the data type after creation?

I can introduce integers but still not decimals. My excel options demonstrate that my decimal separator is "comma".

You did not reply on your release.

Just a guess as I did not have the error yet:

In case you are on IBP 6.1, please check in the tile "Maintain Business User" (under Identity and Access Management) whether that settings in Excel are in line with your settings in the Business User

If the settings are in line, than I suggest you open an OSS message, in which you add the log from the folder C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Local\Temp\log
