Migration Java stack to Hana

Hello,

I need to migrate a Sap portal system to Hana.

I've read that for java system is using the Classical migration but I 've some doubts.

We only need to migrate the SQL database to Hana, with a distributed system. The PAS must be reside on the same server (windows) and the SID haven´t change.

I've exported the Database with swpm but I don't know how to import it on hana database. How can I do this?

Regards

Hi Ruben,

You can uninstall PAS after export and reinstall PAS again to the same Windows server during the target system import.

Hello Ning,

It's an option but this method It's recommended by SAP?

Are there any other option like DMO option for sum?

Hi Ruben,

I am not sure if it is recommend by SAP (I just used to be familiar with this method).

But DMO is used for ABAP-based system upgrade and migration to HANA in one step.
