Fiori Launchpad license

Hi

I know we need a specific license to deploy Web IDE (Hana Cloud Platform) apps, but do we need anything specific license for Fiori Launchpad? As far as I know is a component of the UI Add-on and it should be part of the NetWeaver license itself, but I did not find any specific.

If you are talking about the on-premise Fiori launchpad (and not the HANA Cloud based launchpad) then yes, the required services for the launchpad are delivered in the SAP_UI component as part of the NW740 (and above) installation. No separate license is required for the Fiori components.

one of our customers uses launchpad to log on to external applications. A lot of users don't even have access to the SAP backend. What then?

SAP Fiori launchpad on SAP HANA Cloud Platform is one of options.

we do have s4 Hana with Fiori launch pad(on-premise) .some user doesn't want to use any SAP module. some users are using only custom applications ( Start with "z") on fiori launchpad. so for that particular user we need SAP user license?
