GRC UAR Request - Reject option & Comments issue

Hi All,

Presently I am working on UAR configuration in GRC AC 10.1 SP8. I am facing below 2 issues while processing requests at reviewer (Role Owner) stage. Also tried through admin but no luck. Searched in SCN for the same issue & notes but no luck. Really appreciate your suggestions on this issue.

1. "Reject" option still appearing in the request though I unchecked "reject users"check box in "Modify Task settings" of role owner stage in UAR    process    ID.

2. Though I set "Comments Mandatory" to "rejection" only, when processing the request still receiving error like " Enter the notes for approval/rejection" when approve the assignments. Anyway I tried to enter comments but comments section greyed out in popup window. Moreover If I go to comments tab directly once , I could not go to other tabs as it is spinning for hours every time. Every time I need to close entire request window and open it again. When I click on "Add Comments" in line item same thing happening.

Comments issue is same for each option - Approve, Remove & Reject.

GRC AC 10.1 SP8

Reviewer - Role owner

No Admin stage

Thanks,

Srinivas

Hi Anji/All,

Thanks for your reply. My 1st problem is resolved now. Still searching for solution for my 2nd issue.

When role owner click on "Add comments" to enter notes for reason for removal, pop window - "notes" opening but in disabled/greyed out mode and not able to enter comments. Moreover when role owner click on "Comments" tab in UAR request same greyed out window opening and not able to enter notes. This issue is not only for UAR request. Same comments issue for normal access request also.

Thanks,

Srinivas

Srinivas,

When you have two issues, you should raise two discussion threads. Now you have one issue resolved, but there can only be one "Correct Answer."  If Anji's response resolved your issue, please mark it as Correct, then start a new discussion thread for your second issue. Otherwise, someone searching for a solution in the future will not know if that suggestion was the resolution of your first issue.

Thanks,

Hello Srinivas Salla,

Check the below note for your second issue.

2214814 - UAR error: "Enter the notes for rejection"

rakesh ram M

P.S : In Future, Please raise two separate discussion threads.
