Hello everyone,
I would like to know if there's any way where we could fasten full-sync repository synch jobs for Roles & Profiles. We have about 30 systems with a huge number of roles which are to be synced for the first time with GRC. Each system's taking about 30,000 secs and more than one job at a time is affecting the system's performance (enhancing system's performance is not an option for us in this case).
I've read this somewhere : On full sync mode, SAP syncs all roles from 1/1/1970, till date. Can we have the start date changed probably? Or have synch job run only for relevant roles?
Really appreciate your help!
Thank you.
Regards,
Santosh

Hi Santosh,
if you are using GRC 10.1 , Please uncheck the "Role search" attribute while scheduling the Repository Sync Job which is only required if you have integrated SAP FIORI with GRC. This will reduce the duration of sync.

Hi,
Since this is the first time, you can take a weekend to run the full sync.Full Sync should be scheduled weekly.Depending upon your no. of dialog/background processes availability, you can run the job. not all systems will be ECC, and therefore not all systems will have huge roles. So, not all systems will take 30000, secs. So, you can run 3 systems per day.
