Time dependent attributes in IBP

Hi All,

Do you know if it is possible to have time dependent attributes in IBP?

Let me put you in context: for the customer Product and potentially Country hierarchies may change from one year to another. As current year planning process (IBP) and next year planning process (for budget) will run on same master data. For them it is not possible to just change this master data every year.

Do you have any suggestion to cover functionality this in the tool?

yes, that would be attributes as key figure, compare model config guide chapter 17.2

I have checked that chapter but it only takes into account "numeric/decimal" values for the attributes (for example price).

But is it possible to apply to "Character" attributes this time dependant with attributes as Key Figure?

No, I am not aware of that.

I can only imagine you work with different versions for your planning:

Version 1 for current year, version 2 for next year. And you enable the version-dependent master data for the versions, so you can have your kf in your version 1 with this years product hierarchy and kf in your version 2 with next years product hierarchy
