Hi All,
Planned order created by SNP run (CTM) always has different start date and end date same in APO.
The same planned order when we check in ECC its different but same in ECC.
Example:
Planned Order Start Date End Date
In APO 11/06/2016 20/07/2013
In APO 12/06/2016 20/07/2013
In APO 13/06/2016 20/07/2013
In APO 10/06/2016 20/07/2013
In APO 09/06/2016 20/07/2013
In RRP3/Product view all the orders have same avail/requirement date.
In PDS, activity duration (fixed) is 13 day for setup and handle.
How the activity duration (fixed) figure populates in PDS i believe it from work center ?
Please provide the info what could be the reason for SNP planned order have not the same start date in APO.
Let me know if required any information to undersatnd the facts.

Deepika

We have the enhancement where snp planned orders for same BEN Bom Explosion Number we are cominbining and before moving to ECC its is creating a combine Planned Orders for same BEN Number.
So IN ECC
Lot size in Routing = 900
so both setup + labour approx 24016 mints= 400.26 mints= 16.67 days
operation setup labour unit
10 15 0 min
20 30 8,180 min

90 60 1 min
100 0 0 min
110 0 0 min
120 30 4,700 min

we have the below dates for the planned Orders

I am not getting how this dates are picked up in apo and ecc.
Could you please explain me with the above example.

Hi Deepika,
The duration of the planned order is decided by the activity times from the PDS or PPM. Which is the same durations, you maintain in ECC routing.
Since the system uses the backward scheduling and I assume you have multiple demands with the same requirement date of 20/07/2016 (I hope you mistyped 2013) - but with different quantity, the start date is calculated differently.
For example, if your PDS is set with 1 hr per EA as a production duration, then 100 EA order would need 100 hr - but 50 EA order would need only 50 hr. Then system will use the requirement date as the end date and use backward scheduling to get the start date.
Please let me know if you need any more details.

Hi Deepika,
Since you are using SNP PDS, the time in the PDS would be rounded to the minimum of one day.
So, in SNP, it would calculate the start and end date using this rough cut PDS.
However, it seems in ECC, when the planned order is getting transferred, it would do the lead time scheduling using individual operation times to the minute level.
This will definitely will create difference in the start date/time, if you are using backward scheduling.

Manimaran M.
