Hi Guys,
currently I am a Student at SAPs Revenue Accounting Development Team and am trying to represent data from SAP Database Tables with Lumira.
Unfortunately, the System does is not running on HANA and has as far as I know, no BW either. Therefore I cannot uses this Plattforms as an Data Source for Lumira. I thought maybe I could use the SQL Query feature, but I am not sure how to adress the RevenueAccounting System directly.
So do you Guys know, how I can directly access the System and the corresponding Database Tables via Lumira?
Thx
Björn

Hi Tammy,
thank you very much, I think I am on the right way, but I am getting still a driver error when I am trying to connect to the SAP System. I think the error is, that I typed in wrong login information
Where can I get all the required Log in Information from the SAP LogOn / Business Client?
In my Opinion Client,U-name, Password and SysID are the same like I would use in the SAP LogOn, but what about the rest?
Cheers
Björn
Hi Bjoern,
Exporting the data into an Excel or csv and then consuming into Lumira would be another option
Thank you,

Hi Varun,
thanks for your fast response. Sadly, the Excel file would be to small, because the Data Tables could get have between a billion or just a few million entries.
I talked with colleagues and they said that Revenue Accounting provides "direct enabled DataSources", so that we do not need a BW.
Is there any Option, to connect to these Datasources via Lumira?
Greetings
Björn
Hi Bjoern,
You can load it as CSV files and consume it into Lumira and refreshed manually.Tools like Delimit,TextPad and UltraEdit can handle massive sets of data in .csv format.
The other option would be to use Query with SQL and find the datasource,
If you don't find it under SAP, you can ask your system admin to install the drivers and connect to it.
