Changing the SAPSR3 password

Hi,

We lost our DB Schema (SAPSR3) password, and we want to change the password for schema.

We found that we can change password through BRTOOLS, but we wants to know what will be the consequences after changing password.

If there won't be any issues, then we need to show the supporting article or SAP note for the same.

Please suggest.

Hi,

Regarding your question/issue, basically to check the passwords and the effect for SAP of changing passwords you can refer to SAP Note 562863 - "FAQ: Logon mechanisms" (especially point 5 and 7).
