Hi experts,
I am from Basis, I had the user complaining below issue.
User is using the SCM fucntionality. I am not sure what it is but as basis point of view, below is results we tested.
.When user login in SAP and try to check "alert tab" --> it opens correctly
But when user clicks on " view queue" tab and then again try to open "alert tab" --> it get dump CNTL_ERROR.
In short, it works when user uses it freshly login but not later the clicked on "queue".
ST22 dump shows some program dump as normal. Also I am aware of the CNTL_ERROR is mostly because of GUI issue. But we tried re-installing but it did not help.
We upgraded GUI from 730 to 740. still same problem.
For me it seems some dependency or bug in specific program.
I would like your views.
Hi,
yes. I requested to check if any other user also have the same issue. still awaiting for response.
However, meantime I would like to check if this is realy gui issue since the first time (fresh login) will work fine. but as said earlier, this is not working after clicking one tab, User have to log off and try again.
Reinstall of GUi does not helped.
Thanks for your reponse jaganraj.

Amol

Hi Amol,
The same kind of issue we had come across in our SCM landscape. This was solved after reinstalling the SAP GUI to 740. Often these issues will come in SAP SCM due to GUI.
We do assign these work to our workplace team who will completely delete everything and reinstall.
You can do one more thing. Try to replicate the same in another users machine. If it works obviously there is a problem with this user's GUI only.

Hi,
Go through the below sap note, if it fits the situation.
1920313 - Monitor gives runtime error on display of multiple HUs
