Hi all,

Somebody can help me to know which it's the difference between the status: "Lock" and "Close" in the tcode CJ20N, please.

Both status involve the same accounting staff?

Thank you!

Dear Cinthya,

Pl refer below HELP.SAP link which I believe will give you an idea of what actually those - System statuses for WBS Element mean (Lock / CLOSED).

Technically speaking, Set either status for WBS could depend on co-ordination between Projects / Finance team. For System status: Locked, you again can restrict individual business transactions or all the data in a work breakdown structure.

Hope the 'Features' section of the System status in below link will help you understand, how it works in reality during course of Execution of Project.

If you would like to see the difference between System Statuses use transaction BS22, double click on a status and you will see the control by Business Transaction.  For example CLSD controls 218 Business Transactions.  These are internal SAP business transactions, not transaction codes like CJ20N.
