acknowledgement not possible error

Hi Friends,

I have a scenario from IDOC to FILE, upto this part message is processing successfully. The message getting failed in moni when it receives acknowledgment with ack.status as acknowledgement is not possible and after opening the message in the error log it is showing as unable to convert the sender service to an ALE logical system.

queries:

1. is acknowledgment is possible for this scenario(any either system or application acknowledgement)  .

2.If possible, could you please let me know the procedure for the same.

Which version of PI is in landscape?

we are using PI 7.1 version, I have already checked the blog..

I just want to know in my case is it possible or not? and what could you be the reason if the message failing with the above mentioned error?

for file system I have not maintained any logical system, is it causing issue? because when acknowledgment happening in moni it will show as sender is FILE system and receiver is IDOC.

Hello Janaradhan,

Since you have File as Receiver I believe ACK is not possible.Intially I didnt read ur receiver.

And this is error is occuring because IDOC ack are not turned off.

Turn it off using the report-IDX_NOALE
