Hello Shaik,

goto transaction SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING. Is here something red?
Everything must be green. If this is not the case, select the red entry and klick on Execute (F8) or post a screenshot.

Hello,

the screenshots are very small, but your configuration on the first screenshot ist ok. Everything is green.

Please go to transaction SU53 --> Authorisation Values --> Other User --> choose WF-BATCH --> Execute.

Are here some failed authorization checks?

Then go to transaction SU01 --> choose WF-BATCH --> check if the user is locked (ctrl + F5).

Benedikt

Hello Azmath,

Can you share steps involved in resolving issue as I'm having the exact same dumps in productive PI 7.31 system.

I can deduce some inadequacy in the roles assigned to WF-BATCH user but what roles need to be assigned and how?

Andem

Hi Andem ,

The below role missed with user . that's the reason dumps are occurred .

The role was : Z-(Company name)-BTC - BTC ROLE

add this role in the user , will get resolved .

Hi Azmath,

Thanks for the feedback but the roles you are referring to seem to be custom built roles. I did some search in SAP knowledge base and found some notes that seem relevant (Notes 2222701 and note 2309320). They suggest the issue is as a result of the use of WF-BATCH for ccBPM CCMS monitoring. The suggested solution is to create a new user and RFC destination and changing config. to use these. Will implement and revert with outcome.

Hi Azmath,

I implemented the notes and effected the manual workaround but the runtime errors were still being generated. I will wait for our BASIS team to patch the PI application and re-implement then. For now I added role SAP_XI_BPE_ADMINISTRATOR_ABAP to WF-BATCH use master record and the run time errors are now longer generated.

Andem.

Could you please check with Basis? looks WF-BATCH used does not have necessary roles.

check tcode su53 and see if there is any issues in permission.

What is this dump please? Can you share the details of the dump?

I would also check for any background jobs that are scheduled in SM37 and see if there are any failed jobs and the job log for these..

Sorry, I am clueless on this! My only way to analyze would be to see

- Any Batch Jobs of this user.

- Any Custom Reports of this user.

- Any ccBPM stuck in SMQ1 / SMQ2 etc.

Hi,

  • Plz check wf-batch user status i.e is it lock?
  • Also, check if there is any authorization missing for this user in su53.
  • download the dump and upload here or simply copy and paste the content of the dump here.

Shyam

How to correct the error

Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.

    -

If the error occurs in a non-modfied SAP program, you might be able to

find a solution in the SAP Notes system. If you have access to the SAP

Notes system, check there first using the following keywords:

    "MESSAGE_TYPE_X"

    "SAPLSWPB" bzw. LSWPBU02

    "SWP_ADMIN_DATA_READ"

If you cannot solve the problem yourself, please send the following

    information to SAP:

    1. This description of the problem (short dump)

To do this, choose  System -> List -> Save -> Local File (unconverted)

on the screen you are in now.

    2. A suitable system log

To do this, call the system log in transaction SM21. Restrict the time

interval to ten minutes before the short dump and five minutes after

it. In the display, choose System -> List -> Save -> Local File

    (unconverted).

    3. If these are programs of your own, or modified SAP programs: Source

    code of these programs

    4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred or

which actions and input caused the error.

Azmath..
