How to create the Public root folder in SAP PLM - ECTR

Hi,

Unable to create public folder in SAP PLM - ECTR Frontend..

I know that default.txt has to be modified to get the folder creation..

After creation how do we provide full access for the folders..

The setting for the root folder can be done in the default.txt

# List of root folders that will be present after startup. Please note

# that this is the ONLY way to define which folders are going to be directly

# visible on the desktop.

     plm.om.desktop.rootFolders = %FOL;EDIPUBLICROOTFOLDER%FOL

The folders are created automatically when you start ECTR the 1st time. If the creation is not done, you should see an error in the log files.

Yes, ECTR was able to create the folders automatically after setting those variables in default.txt.

But I'm unable to create additional folders within those...

How do we add additional folders within those auto created folders...

After updating the latest ECTR front end patch, I'm able to create / add new folders in ECTR desktop...
