GRC Notifications Message no. XS899 No information on delivery, status invalid

Hi All

We are having an issue on GRC where some of the notifications are going into error. The email addresses are correct.

If the user tried Password Self Service and the notifications goes into error, if he tries later then the message goes through.

It happens intermittently.

The error is "Message no. XS899 No information on delivery, status invalid"

Has anyone can across this or can help?

We are facing the same error after mail relay has been changed on infra side - nothing has been changed in the systems sending mails. In our case its (a quite often) sporadic error which has nothing to do with sender or receiver addresses. It could be a load problem on the mail relay side.

What I'm looking for is a way on how to get more details about this error from the SAP system. Where to look in SAP logfiles where I might find more information about a particular issue?

The issue does not appear now. All mails are sending without error.

We are still not sure how it was resolved.

Please provide the rest of the required information in this space, so that our members, which are volunteers doing this in our "spare time", do not have to guess which corrections might be applicable in your system.

We are on GRC 10 SP10. Planning to upgrade to GRC10.1 however the issue is on GRC10 SP10.

Nothing new was installed on GRC.

Below SAP note is suggested by our Basis and not sure if this is the solution

"1784405 - Duplicate receiver addresses"

The email notifications that are in error are for random ones and not for any specific notification or systems.

Hope the above explains the issue.
