Personas 2.0 - Adding Basic View to RENDOR_FLAVORVIEW

I've assigned my users to the RENDOR_FLAVORVIEW profile - so they can switch flavors - but the basic view isn't available...

how do I add the basic views to this profile?

Hi Shane,

I think you can change the settings "RENDER_FLAVORVIEW" to "no edit access" or some other...

then you can vie the basic view....

I've figured out i have to add the following to the RENDER_FLAVORVIEW profile - ,25

but when I go to SPRO > Cross Components > Screen Personas > Maintain Personas Profiles

the table is greyed out in change mode.

Hi Shane,

RENDER_FLAVORSWITCH role allows users to see flavors and switch between flavors, but wont show basic view. You need to create custom role and use. Please see this link:

In SPRO screen, you need to click on edit or New Entries toolbar button to allow you to make changes.

Hi Chinthan - I tried that but the row is greyed out when i go into change mode... I've setup an SAP ticket for this and another issue #0000002128

Hi,

the personas roles are stored in the SAP-table /PERSOS/V_ROLES.

All fields of this tables are KEY-fields.

So you can't change the Bitmask-Value for existing entries.

If you want to change the values, you have to delete the old entry and create a new one.
