Last Period Aggregation (using Attribute Transformation)

Hi All,

I am working with Last Period Aggregation for Inventory Target Key figure and see that it sums up the inventory of all the months in a quarter, rather than showing the inventory of the last month of that Quarter.

Have any one faced the same issue and how can we resolve the same? I have followed the same settings/config as maintained in SAP2 model.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Hi Sarath,

Can you please attach the screen shots of the configuration, you have done? Also what is the granularity of the time profile?

HI Rinju,

Time Profile is ( Monthly, Quaterly and Yearly ).

Planning Levels PER ( no root ), PER1 ( PERIODID as root ), PERPRODLOC ( Monthly, PRDID, LOCID as root )

Attached are the screenshots for other config.

INVENTORYDMDQTY@REQUEST = HINVENTORYTARGETQTY@REQUEST

Hi Sarath,

Calculation of HINVENTORYTARGETQTY@REQUEST is not complete. Try following:

Create planning level: PERPRODLOC1: this planning level should be same as PERPRODLOC, but select only PERIODID in the time attribute and mark it as root.

Then add cal 1--> INVENTORYDMDQTY@PERPRODLOC1 = MAX(INVENTORYDMDQTY@PERPRODLOC)

Create another planning level PERPRODLOC2: this planning level should be same as PERPRODLOC1, but all the other time attribute. Mark PERIODID as root.

cal 2: HINVENTORYDMDQTY@PERPRODLOC2= INVENTORYDMDQTY@PERPRODLOC1

Input KFs: INVENTORYDMDQTY@PERPRODLOC1 and HFPERIOD@PER1

cal 3: HINVENTORYDMDQTY@REQUEST= SUM(HINVENTORYDMDQTY@PERPRODLOC2)

Final cal: INVENTORYDMDQTY@REQUEST=HINVENTORYDMDQTY@REQUEST
