SAP Logon Message

Hi ALL.

During SAP Logon , For User name and Password combinations 2 kinds of messages are getting generated.

1. If user name & Password combinations are wrong then message displayed - " Name or password is incorrect, Please re-enter" .

2. If user is locked by admin - Message displayed - "User is locked.Please notify the responsible person", this message is getting displayed even though batch (background) jobs are going ( As users are locked out during any background processes). So Users are not able to identify for what reason the specific user is being locked out .

So to make it with proper message display during SAP logon, A custom message like for an example if user is locked because of background processing then message would be displayed "Batch Processing is in progress,You are locked out".

-These messages are stored in table T100.

- I have had attempt to use the available enhancement SUSR0001 , but this gets triggered only when user is able to login.

- Also I had change in table T100 - text message But for any combinations, if user is locked by admin or user is locked because of batch processsing - displaying the same message.

Where did you come across this: "As users are locked out during any background processes" ??

A user is being used in back ground process wont meant that user is locked.

Hi,

have you aldready check the logon SAP program? SAPMSYST screen 100?

Screen 100 have some information about the way of activating some users exits,

check this information (copy & paste ) from screen 100:

• (h) Login-Lastverteil-Algorithmus aufrufen (SUBMIT RSRZLLG0)

• FUNCTION SUSR_LOGON_USER_EXIT

• - Message ausgeben bei Anmeldung in unvollständiger Sprache

• (j) - System-Default für Zeitzonen setzen (FB 'TZON_SYS_DEFAULT')

• (k) - ggf. Hilfe-Applikation laden (FB 'HLP_RTF_DISPLAY_PRELOAD')

• (l) - Kundenexit (ZXUSRU01)

• (m) - -ID lesenSAPphone: Arbeitsplatz und Benutzer zuordnen

• (n) - ggf. fehlerhafte Transporte anzeigen (Benutzer-Einstellung)

• (o) - Anzeigen, ob Mail angekommen ist (FB 'SO_WIND_INBOX_INFO')

MODULE D020_USER_EXIT.
